The church at large is mostly silent and/or ignorant about GRIEF. GRIEF is very seldom if at all talked about. In fact, we mostly take the subject for granted or dismiss it as unnecessary BUT nothing could be further from the truth. GRIEF is a reality. GRIEF is powerful. GRIEF is human. GRIEF cannot be overlooked, bypassed or opted out of. Sadly, there are so many dimensions, layers and levels where we have all experienced GRIEF, but probably in ways that could had been much less defeating and disempowering than we may have realized. Whether it is the loss of loved ones, broken promises, career changes, failing health, unfulfilled dreams, family disappointments or a host of other issues in our human condition we need to learn more wisely how to GRIEVE so that even after deep losses we can still continue living life the way that God intended, without us unintentionally killing ourselves in the process.
